Thanksgiving Cornucopia Snack Mix

One Thanksgiving, when I was a kid, my wonderfully creative Aunt set a beautiful Thanksgiving Day table and at each of our place settings she made a Thanksgiving Cornucopia Snack Mix similar to this.

I was small, so I don’t remember exactly what was in it, but in my little mind, it was magical. It added so much festivity to the table, and my own little cornucopia just made for a very special Thanksgiving Day meal.

1 bag of pumpkin spice marshmallows
1 bag of s’more flavored candy corn
1 bag of pumpkin crème candies
1 box of chocolate waffle cones
*you can actually get creative here and add whatever you like.
If you can find fruit snacks that are actually shaped like fruit, those
are actually a nice touch as well!

Cornucopia Craft Activity

You can also turn this fun treat into a fun harvest or Halloween cornucopia craft activity. Wouldn’t it be fun to have the kids make these for the classroom Thanksgiving feast? If you don’t want to use sugar cones you could always help the kids craft cornucopias out of construction paper or felt and then fill them with candy.

One of my favorite things about this cute treat idea is that it also serves as fun cornucopia decor! These fun little handmade treats will be so festive on your holiday table!

How to Make Thanksgiving Cornucopia Snack Mix

  • Combine the marshmallows, candy corn, and pumpkin candies in a large bowl and mix well.
  • Add the mixture to the chocolate waffle cones one at a time. If you have extra mix leftover,
simply add to a small decorative bowl.

Arrange them in the middle of the table or lay them on their side at each place setting. These are great to use as fall place settings and this is also a great way to hand out classroom snacks!
