Creepy Crawly Spider Straws
If you plan on holding a Halloween bash this season, or even helping with a classroom party, here is a fun and easy Halloween Craft for you: creepy crawly spider straws, they are perfect for sipping just about anything at your spooky get together! You can craft several dozen of these for just a few bucks, and they add such a nice touch!
Here is what you will need:
Assorted paper straws (Michael’s sells these in their bargain section for $1-$2 a dozen)
Plastic spider rings ($1 per package at Dollar Tree)
Hot glue gun + glue sticks
1. Begin by removing the ring portion of the spider ring. To do this, all you need to do is take your scissors and snip it off the ring. Snipping it at the sides typically works best.
2. You can now attach the spiders to your straw. Add a generous dab of hot glue to the back of the spider. Press it to the straw, about two inches or so down. You don’t want it any higher, as it will be hard to drink from it!
3. Allow the spiders to dry for a good 15-20 minutes. Arrange them in a spooky glass so guests can easily grab them and go as needed.
When you give these creepy crawly spider straws a try, you are sure to get your guests into the spooky spirit! Such a fun touch to your spooky bash!
