If you are an animal lover like I am, then you might be excited to learn that Scotties has teamed up with rescue organizations to help animals in need, thus the new adorable packaging that you will see on Scotties boxes in stores now!
Scotties Facial Tissues announces that all summer long, from June to August they will be holding sponsoring cat adoption events along the east coast. Scotties will work with rescue organizations in Boston, MA, Raleigh, NC, and Tampa, FL in order to waive adoption fees for prospective cat owners in an effort to place them in loving homes.
“At Scotties our focus is softness – so this partnership made perfect sense,” said John Robertson, Director of Marketing for Scotties Facial Tissues. “We hope that our donation will act as an incentive for caring people to come forward and open up their homes.”
This private/public partnership with animal rescue organizations is a key public service focus for Scotties on the east coast in 2014. All adoptable cats will have been spayed and neutered and are up to date on all shots and vaccinations. Scotties hopes to rally support for this cause and to put approximately 100 – 150 cats nationally into their forever homes.
My thoughts? The packaging on these boxes is darling and I love the affiliation with rescue animals. With school starting soon, these are great products to keep an eye out for when you are bringing supplies in to classrooms. Not only does this one come in handy in school, but helps animals across the country at the same time!
