Maleficent is rated PG and is in theaters now!!
As part of my trip to LA a few weeks ago for the press junket for Maleficent, we were able to go on a on a VIP tour of the Glendale Creative Campus which is the headquarters for Disney Consumer Products and Disney Interactive. One of my very favorite things about Disney is the merchandise, and they are rolling out some AMAZING products for Maleficent.
Our VIP tour included a product presentation by Jonathan Symington (Vice President & General Manager, Licensing, Disney Entertainment and Games) and Ariella Seltzer (Associate Designer, Disney Store North America). It was so neat to see them unveil the newest products and hear them talk about how much work goes into the creation of each and every item.
For those of you that are looking to collect a few items, the best advice that I can give you is to grab it when you see it. I made the mistake of NOT grabbing a few products from the Frozen product line, and they have never come back in stock, and are now selling on eBay for outrageous amounts.
The Maleficent line is fascinating because it ranges from everything to mugs and toys to fantastic clothing line from Stella McCartney line (above) that will blow you away! (you can take a peek at the entire line here)
Shown below are some of my favorites from the Maleficent product line and links to where you can find them online:
1-Maleficent Maleficent: 11.5″ Dark Beauty Maleficent Doll
2-Maleficent Movie Jakks Pacific Glow Horns
3-Maleficent Soundtrack CD
4-Maleficent Maleficent: 11.5″ Beloved Aurora Doll
5-Disney Royal Coronation Maleficent and Diaval
6-Funko Pop! Disney: Maleficent Movie – Maleficent Vinyl Figure
7-Maleficent Hardcover Book
Like I said, if you see something that you really want (or think that you might want to give as a gift later on) grab it now, as the really neat things tend to become harder and harder to find.
Remember, Maleficent is rated PG and is in theaters now!!
