My brother teaches high school and is often ‘forgotten’ about during the holidays. A simple card or some baked cookies would surely bring a smile. They often use their on money to buy supplies for their classrooms, so even pencils/pens or other simple items are often appreciated as well.

When our Son was in kindergarten, he had an amazing teacher. She had a blended classroom with children who had special needs and those who did not. I used to go an help in the classroom a couple of times a week. Just to watch her work with all the children was incredible. She really could relate to children on their level. That year for Christmas, I got her a special gift. When she was not there one day, I had each one of the kids put their hand print and sign their names on a piece of paper and took a class picture. I had all of the hand prints, signed names and class picture mounted and included a touching poem. She was so overwhelmed when we gave her the gift that she cried. Thank you for the super giveaway opportunity. Keep up the terrific blogging.
