If you are looking for an easy and fun Halloween snack treat, here is one that we have made several times over the past few years in my children’s classrooms. I will warn you first that NO, they are NOT healthy, but YES, they were all kinds of fun to make and eat 🙂
To make these Oreo Cookie Spiders you will need:
Oreos, Black Licorice, Yellow Frosting, Red Hots and white paper plates/black marker. Open the cookies to add the yellow frosting (for some reason, spiders look cooler with yellow gush oozing out) and also add the licorice sticks (you can cut them in half for shorter spiders) … also use the yellow frosting to glue on the eyes.
Draw a spider web on the paper plate… walla…Spooky Spider Treats!
