Check out this fun Halloween Countdown Calendar! It’s filled with 16 foil-wrapped milk chocolate flavored treats, which means that starting on October 16th, your little goblins can kick off the holiday season with the fun and excitement of opening a door each day leading right up to halloween!

What I love MOST about Countdown Calendars is that they are actually launching a Publicize and Profit fundraising program with these calendars. Schools or preschools, teams, youth groups, charities, and other groups interested in earning easy, extra money to support their activities. The simplified program is online, with no cost or risk to the school or group. The fundraiser offers a potential for a nice monetary return for the group in exchange for their efforts to publicize the fundraiser and Halloween Countdown Calendars. Our thoughts? This is such a fun product, and my kids were so excited about it (duh!) …but I really love the fundraising angle, and sometimes I feel like we get hit so hard with fundraising items, but this is actually an affordable and fun item, that I think is a win/win for all. I also love, that when you fundraise, you don’t even need to mess with collecting money or product, you just have your supporters enter a code and your group benefits!

There are several special activities integrated into the game. With every flap opened, on the underside is a hidden picture to be found in the illustration on the back of the box. Also included is a countdown tally of days remaining until the holiday, and there is a mascot “Countdown Pal” on the back of the box to help keep track of the flaps opened. And I love that these candy treats and calendar packaging (box and tray) are made by companies in the USA.

To test out this product, we of course had to peek behind a few windows a bit early, but trust me… my kids didn’t mind at all. They both thought that this was a very fun and tasty review!
