Looking for a quick and easy Granola Bar recipe? This is one of our favorites! One thing that I love about this easy homemade granola bar recipe is that the more you make it, the more comfortable you will become with changing it up from time to time. Add things like different nuts, cranberries, coconut, seeds and more!
2 Cups Rolled Oats
1/2 Cup Honey
2 Tablespoons Peanut Butter (we prefer extra crunchy)
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 cup raisins (optional)
1/4 cup chocolate chips (optional)
1/2 cup peanuts (optional)
Preheat over to 325F
Spray a 9inch baking pan (I like to use a pyrex casserole dish)
Spread the oats on a cookie sheet and toast them in a 325 oven for 15 minutes
In saucepan combine honey, peanut butter and vanilla over medium heat until smooth.
Transfer toasted oats to a mixing bowl and pour the heated mixture over oats and stir.
Spread evenly into your sprayed baking dish.
Bake in preheated oven for about 10 minutes (longer if you want them crunchy)
Remove from oven to let cool and then cut into bars.
No-Bake Granola Treat Options
I get that you don’t always have time to cook something and I have a few favorite no-bake recipes that are always on our snack rotation.
These Chocolate Peanut Butter No-Bake Energy Balls (above) are super easy and a great little snack for an afternoon pick me up and they are also perfect for sporting events. We like to make and take them to wrestling tournaments where they seem to get eaten pretty quickly, and not just by the athletes! Get the full recipe for those here.
These Frosty No Bake Granola Bars are healthy and easy to grab for a snack on the go. They are also no-bake and are super easy as well. Head over to Food Doodles to get the full recipe and instructions!
