Last week, I mentioned to you that I was checking out the American Express Prepaid Card. I attended BlogHer 2011 the past few days (more awesome and exciting info on that coming soon!) and this little card came in so handy!
<—-Here is my card hanging out with another of my favorite travel companions… my coffee!! I love that not only did this prepaid card help me stay within my travel budget, but it was also so much easier than worrying about carrying cash. Of course, I kept a small amount of cash with me, but this card is nice so that I can have a larger amount ready if needed (this card also has fraud protection, which gives me extra security for my travels.) The most exciting part is that I am traveling home UNDER budget … which I love, and I still have funds on my card for my next adventure. I also love that I can go right on line to track all of my spending and see exactly how much money is still on my card.
I think that the American Express Prepaid Card is an excellent choice for managing my budget when traveling. My prepaid American Express works just like a debit card (I even have a pin number) and I can manage my card anytime right online. Stay tuned… I am excited to share more of my prepaid American Express adventures with you …
