Who Gives a Shirt?
Who gives a shirt? Me!! I gift clothing items often. For one thing, they make really practical gifts. For another, I think that people (especially my hubby and son) enjoy getting things that they can wear, and it’s a win for me because I love to have them looking nice and I love for them to have clothing that fits when they need it.
I try to get creative when gifting clothing because I don’t want my giving to seem boring or have it be unappreciated. I try to look for unique colors that maybe represent favorite sports teams, or fun graphics that I know they will enjoy wearing. Favorite characters are always a hit with my son and there are certain brand names that my hubby really enjoys receiving as gifts. I don’t even mind spending a bit more to get quality brands because then I know I’m purchasing him products that last.
I’ve written before about our favorite way to dye t-shirts using kool-aid, and that’s a really fun option for kids and also makes for a fun birthday party activity. AND speaking of shirts and stains and all of the above, f you find yourself with Kool Aid stained clothes, then make sure to read my mom hack post about How to remove Kool Aid stains from clothing!
