In case you are new to the Blog Box… welcome!!! The Blog Box is a weekly box that I fill up with a new item everyday. Sunday night at midnight the entries are closed and I use random.org to select a winner.

Today I am adding to the Blog Box one of my prints from my newest Art Line…these will be featured in a couple catalogs this winter and I am super excited! This one is a fun “mommy” one that says: “God helps those that help themselves. God also helps those that help their mother.”

Love it. I sell these out of my studio and in about 15 shops around the country and they retail for $18….and I am so excited to share this with all of you!!

Today I added a candle topper from Home Interiors that I got in a 2-pack at BIG LOTS for 25cents…can’t beat that!! It supposed to eliminate soot and help your candles to burn evenly.

Today I added a fun little Kool-Aid scoop that I found at the back of my Albertson’s store for only 10cents!! I just found these 2 days ago…and they have LOTS of stuff in a huge 10cent bin…so I scored about $2 worth of Blog Box Goodies that you will be seeing soon

Friday’s Blog Box Addition….

Today I added a neat little shoe shine cloth (travel size) that I found at the back of my Albertson’s store for only 10cents!! Pop this in your purse and save the day if your shoes get scuffed!! I just found these 3 days ago…and they have LOTS of stuff in a huge 10cent bin…so I scored about $2 worth of Blog Box Goodies that you will be seeing soon

Today I added a cute little mini ornament frame with green gems that I got from a wholesale clearance sale from my frame retailer…

every fall I do a big order when they have their clearance sales.

Yeah…another week!! I am having so much fun with the Blog Box. I look foward to putting it together every week! Today I added something really fun to start the week off! This is a Hallmark Signature Item… it is a set of Cake Charms…you tie them to ribbons and place them in the middle of the cake, letting the ribbons flow out…and each bridal attendant selects a ribbon, revealing her “forture”…. I had never heard of this before, but Hallmark comes up with some pretty fun stuff (the box says that the tradition was actually to bake the charms into the cake…) But regardless…there are 5 darling charms: Key, Baby Carriage, Bells, Horsehoe and a Heart. You could use these for lots of things, and they might be a neat gift for a Bridal Shower. I got them on major clearance at BIG LOTS … they are reg. $15, and they were marked down to 75cents.

Today… I added a cute little purse pouch from CareFree Pantyliners…I got this FREE from the deal HERE. Cute Cute Cute.

Wednesday Blog Box Addition….

Today… I added a tube of MENTOS GUM… yum. Love this stuff and I love the great coupons that keep coming out for it!! I keep finding it clearanced at Albertsons…it seems like they mark down a different flavor every month so with the 55cent off coupons from the paper inserts these have been almost free!

Today… I added a double pack of Elmer’s Glue Sticks…. I loaded up at Kmart’s 20cent sale…so you will probably see these in the Blog Box ALOT in the near future, lol!

Today… I added a really fun item from HOME INTERIORS … I got this on clearance at BIG LOTS … a pack of TWO for 25cents! This is a Candle Topper (for a Jar Candle like Yankee Candles) It is supposed to minimize soot and reduce candle waste by helping to create even burn. Plus…it is kind of pretty too!

Ok…totally spaced getting this post up (whew!) … we had such a fun day of running around and playing that I spaced it completely! If I ever do that…please feel free to still come enter …

Today I added a pack of Hefty Travel Bags … these are from the trial size section at Target where they are 97cents (or so) … I used a $1.00 off ANY Hefty item coupon to get these for FREE!

Sunday Blog Box Addition….

Ok…so I TOTALLY changed my plan for this week. I was GOING to do a box full of coupons… but changed my mind and instead I am doing a box full of fun goodies…it just seemed like coupons were a little too BORING this week… SO… I NIXED the coupon thing (sorry!) and for yesterday (Monday) I added a really neat pack of inspirational cards called Stepping Stones. I got these as an incentive promo from a publishing group that markets my art. (KeriLynArt) They are really neat and targeted towards uplifting thoughts to help women Dream Big!! Like “We are the hero of our own story” (how true!)

The item that I added for Tuesday is another of the darling clearance magnets that I got from Michaels…this one days THING TO DO. If you remember, I got these on clearance for 17cents each…and I stocked up!! (can’t you tell???)

Today… I added to the Blog Box…another Cell Phone and/or Ipod Device type SWEATER…yes… it is true. There is now a call for our devices to be fashionable as well. The truth is … I received an entire “wardrobe” for my iPod… and as it turns out, my iPod is perfectly happy with just wearing the same sweater all the time…so I thought I would share

Today… I added to the Blog Box…a brand new, still shrink wrapped 5×7 photo mat. I get these in huge quantity from my art supplier, and although I use them for my art prints…they can be used for almost anything… including the framing of children’s artwork…which is my favorite use for them!!

Today I added a Glade PlugIns Scented Oil Warmer… I received this from a trial that I did through Buzz Agent (read more about them HERE) I love being a buzz agent because you get free things to try and review. I got so many different Glade products including coupons and units to share with family and friends…that was such a great promotion to be a part of!

Today I added a DVD for kids called Max’s Magical Delivery… this was part of a promotion put out by FitTV that teaches kids to get up off the couch and get fit…fun!

Thursday Blog Box Addition….

Today I added a Degree Deodorant sample that I got from the deal HERE. These are wonderful for travel and/or teenagers … or both!

Friday Blog Box Addition….

Today I added a DARLING little Puppy Magnetic Notepad that is a CHORE CHART… how cute eh? Scored this for 25cents in a clearance bin! It lists the days of the week along with spaces for chores so your (kid, husband, self) can just check ‘em off as they get done!

Saturday Blog Box Addition….

Today I added the cutest little frame ornament…I bought a case of these on clearance from a frame wholesaler so you will probably see them pop up again in future Blog Boxes… they are so cute! Did you know that many wholesalers have year end clearance? My rep from the frame wholesaler calls me once a year to tell me of all the great closeout deals I can get…this year, I literally paid 75% off on about 8 different frame designs. (I also do this same thing with my canvas company when they clear out last years painting canvas) So…it never hurts to ask about clearance sales, even with wholesalers!
