*I am sharing this because I was just alerted to the fact that Pinecone is accepting applications in two categories:
65 years and older
Hispanics over the age of 18
You can still apply here if you are not in either of these categories, as I think they will consider anyone, but you have a really great shot of getting in if you fit into the two categories above. Last year, I made a goal of earning survey money to spend on a vacation that we took. This year, I think I will put my earnings toward my holiday shopping. It’s something small that you can do, to earn a little extra, and I have had several emails asking for more information on survey companies and ways to make money online… and Pinecone Research is a company that is easy to understand, and they pay pretty good. These won’t make your rich, but a little extra money into your paypal account now and then sure is nice!! I take my laptop up to bed every now and then and do a couple of these and before you know it…you have some extra cash coming your way…and I love that they pay with paypal…so that I have extra shopping money in my account for the holidays!!
Pinecone Research will pay you per survey, via either check or paypal. I like to get my deposits through paypal since I shop online so much it builds up and is there when I need it. Also once and a while they will send you new products to test before they hit the market. They are often looking for certain groups, men, mothers, etc. They will ask you a few questions right away to see if you are in a category that they are looking for. I also send all my survey info to a separate email…so that when I go into check that email, I know that I am looking specifically at survey stuff (example: KeriLynSurveys@aol.com) Another great thing about Pinecone Research is that they might select you to do product trials that could score you some free stuff on top of being paid! Click here to learn more and sign up for Pinecone Research.

Alot of you have been asking about additional ways to make some “fun” money online, and this is one that I have personally used, and find to be both easy to use, and worthwhile. If you have been looking for additional survey companies as a way to earn a little extra money (it’s a great way to save up for holiday shopping!) then this is one that I like and recommend. Toluna is a great survey company with a good variety of offers… you can sign up for them here.
They seem to be well liked by survey takers, and I believe that they pay $1-$5 per survey….although I have had a few for more and even one for $30! (keep in mind… you qualify for survey’s based on your personal data) This might be something fun to start doing now to see if you can raise shopping money for the holidays!
There are also some current members who are reporting that they are currently seeking Hello Kitty Fans to review new Hello Kitty product lines… how fun would that be!? (remember, not everyone will get chosen for every opportunity… but worth signing up in the event that you would get to test products that you love, right!?) To see upcoming offers…. go to Rewards, then choose Test Area. This is where you will see which product(s) are currently available for testing. They send you the products for your opinion, and you get to keep the products!
Just go here to check it all out!
Thanks Penny Pinchin’ Polly!

I know that a lot of you have been waiting for this to come back (I also know that these survey companies are NOT for everyone), so I wanted to let you know that they have once again opened up the submissions for the National Consumer Panel… The National Consumer Panel focuses on measuring consumer attitudes and behavior. The panel is made up of people just like you, whose opinions help manufacturers and retailers make decisions on what products to develop or improve.
*This signup does NOT require a landline (like it used to) … so if that stopped you before, you can now apply!
Here is how the program works: Just go HERE to see if you qualify or are put on a waiting list …. and once you are approved, they will call you and go over a few questions and let you know that your package is on the way. In your package will be a scanner…and you basically use it to scan any new product (food/clothing/etc) that your family purchases. The really cool thing is that you earn points, and you can turn in your points for prizes (they also have random type sweepstakes, and my friend Kelly won $100 in one of those, but I have never personally won a sweepstakes, but I did win a cash prize that you
can see here, it’s not much, but it made my day!) …. but the prizes are really good… my (same!) friend also cashed in her rewards to get a Breadmaker (nice one!) and I think that is what I will save my points for as well. . . plus my kids LOVE scanning stuff!!
I pass up on sharing a lot of survey companies, because there are not many that I have been happy with, but Nielsen is the oldest and most popular consumer panel company out there. . . this isn’t a “shady” company at all … they are very professional through the entire process. Plus…everything comes with a 1-800 number (and they actually answer when you call!)

*Oh…and if there are any readers that HAVE participated in this program… please share your experiences with us!
Just go here to check it all out!

The feedback from so many of you has been so positive for these two companies, that I wanted to share them again, and I am so happy to hear that so many of you are having success with them!!
Survey companies are a fun way to try new (free) products and also build up a little “fun” money … I know that many of you already use and love Synovate (free full sized samples!!) and sometimes they are hard to get accepted to, but they just opened up for more applications … so I wanted to mention it again for those of you that have not been able to join.)
About Synovate Global Opinion Panel: With Synovate you can take surveys and participate in product test panels to earn some extra cash from home… you won’t get rich… but it might be a great way to earn a little extra money. I like to do these surveys at night while I relax … and the extra cha-ching helps me feel better about my weekend Starbucks purchases
Not only will they ask you for your opinions…but my favorite part is that they send out sample products for you to test … and usually they are full sized products, which means… free stuff!
If you are already a Synovate member … let us know what you think! Just go HERE to get started!
Another survey/reward company that I really like is Toluna … you can sign up for them here. They seem to be well liked by survey takers as well, and I believe that they pay $1-$5 per survey. This might be something fun to start doing now to see if you can raise shopping money for the holidays!
