American Boston Terrier Rescue) is a super neat group of people who help out Boston Terriers in need. And seriously…everyone (thing) needs something protecting it, and these people do an amazing job. (I won’t go into details about the kinds of tragedy that some of these animals can suffer…usually to human ignorance) …but ABTR has the neatest group of VOLUNTEERS that helps them out, gives them a warm home and lots of love…and of course…funding! For individual kits, they ask you to pick them up at select stores) My kids got their Trick or Treat boxes at Pier 1 last night at the Meridian, Idaho store (they are FREE and they have them in a display – some stores might not have them out yet…but you can pick them up at Pier 1, Baskin Robbins or Hallmark Stores) Super fun way to do teach your kids about doing things for others…plus my daughter loves toting around her little UNICEF box.

Her daughter’s gymnastics team is having a fund raiser – it is called “Antiquities” They are a photography company that specialize in really cute antique style pictures. They will be setting up a studio at Meridian Academy Gymnastics in Meridian October 1-3rd and they are providing- all the props (including clothing), the sitting fee AND a 10×13 Portrait
