What Are YOUR Movie Shelfies?

Netflix_Web_LogoDo YOU have any movie shelfies? What’s a shelfie you ask? We all have them – they’re the shows you’ve been wanting to watch but they’ve been sitting on the virtual shelf because…well, because you’re a parent and who has the time?

I definitely have a list of shelfies, and thanks to Netflix, I’m actually getting the chance to catch up on them. Hey, I might be a few years late, but better late than never, right? Here are the three “shelved” series that I plan on working through this fall:

Friday Night LightsFriday Night Lights

If you love football (and Kyle Chandler) then Friday Night Lights might be a great series for you. I love this show, it has it all: comedy, drama, romance. It combines the excitement of high school sports in a small town with all of the pressures (on and off the field) that go along with that. Lots of story lines here, and great for the entire family.

Netflix has FIVE seasons, and I have missed about 3 of those, so I have a lot of catching up to do!

LOSTLost

Ok, yes I admit, somehow I missed the boat on this series. Better late than never though, and now that I have interviewed both writer Brad Bird and Lost star Evangeline Lilly, this is a series that I definitely want to get through and thankfully Netflix gives me that chance, and I can do so at my own pace. (…and yes, that probably means that there will be some late night marathon viewing sessions but don’t judge. A girl does what she has to do to catch up on the good stuff)

Neflix offers all SIX seasons of Lost, so I’ll be busy with this one for awhile!

HOARDERS

Hoarders

I’m just keeping it real here. Aside from making me itch a little, nothing motivates me to clean my house more than a good episode of Hoarders. The reality of this show is shocking, it’s like a train wreck that you can’t turn away from, but I have to admit, this show totally amazing me and I do love seeing the transformation that happens once these people get help. I also love the effect that just one episode can have on me and usually the next day I am dropping more stuff off at the donation center!

Those are my movie shelfies, I would love to hear yours!
