Skillet Blueberry and Cream Cobbler Recipe

Skillet baking is one of my favorite techniques for creating delicious deserts.
 
This Skillet Blueberries and Cream Cobbler Recipe is perfect because not only is it delicious but the presentation is wonderful as well.
We love to top it with homemade vanilla ice cream, especially when it’s still warm… so delicious, and I love that I can serve it up right out of the skillet!

This skilled blueberries and cream cobbler makes for a wonderful and easy dessert, especially when topped with ice cream!

Ingredients for making this Blueberry Cobbler recipe

1 stick butter
1 egg lightly beaten
1 cup milk
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 cup sugar
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 quarts blueberries
4 ounces cream cheese cut in small pieces
 

How to make Blueberry Cobbler in a Skillet

 
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Melt butter in your skillet.
In a small bowl, mix together the egg, milk, flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Pour directly over the butter in the skillet, but do not stir. Add the blueberries. Sprinkle cream cheese pieces over blueberries.
Place in preheated oven and bake 45 minute  or until top is golden brown and edges are bubbling.
We love to serve this with homemade ice cream or whipped cream.
