Easy S’mores Bars Recipe

This Easy S’mores Bars Recipe is one of our favorites for making in the summer time, and we love to take these on picnics and camping trips!

You might have seen or tried the Golden Grahams S’mores Chocolate Marshmallow Treat Bars that you can buy in stores? Well, here’s a little secret for you: this homemade version is just as good, probably better! (and they are definitely less expensive!) 

I also love that this easy S’mores Bars recipe doesn’t use the oven, which is an added bonus in these hot summer months. This recipe is also perfect for kids just getting started in the kitchen. 

Easy S'mores Bars Recipe

The ingredients are affordable and the instructions are super easy to follow. 

I love recipes that the kids can make, and the whole family can enjoy – that’s truly what I call a mom win.

Ingredients for making Golden Grahams S’mores Bars

  • 3 tbsp Butter
  • 4 ½ Cups Miniature Marshmallows, divided
  • 4 Cups Golden Grahams Cereal
  • ½ Cup Nestle Toll House Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips 

Easy S'mores Bar Treat made with Golden Grahams

How to make this Easy S’mores Bars Recipe

Line an 8×8 inch baking dish with parchment paper and set aside.
In a large saucepan melt butter over low heat. Once butter has completely melted, stir in 4 cups marshmallows until completely melted. Remove from heat.
Using a spatula gently fold in Golden Grahams until coated well.
Add in chocolate chips and remaining marshmallows and gently fold in until well incorporated.
Transfer to prepared baking dish and press evenly into dish.
Cut into 2-inch squares.

I can literally put this recipe together in minutes and that is about how quickly my family will devour them if I don’t hide them away.

In fact, this recipe is so popular in our house, that I always try to have these ingredients on hand, which is pretty easy considering that here are only 4 ingredients!

Easy S'mores Bars Recipe

This easy and delicious S'mores bar treat is made with Golden Grahams cereal and marshmallows. These are very easy to make and a great recipe for kids just learning their way around the kitchen because it's no-bake. We think it tastes a little bit like a homemade granola bar but is sweet and savory enough to also make a great dessert. This is a fun snack for hiking and camping too!

Ingredients

  1. Delish! I had 3 boxes of Golden Grahams laying around and decided to give this a try. I used cooking spray for the baking dish instead of parchment paper (I don’t have good luck with parchment paper, lol). I also lightly sprayed a clean spatula with cooking spray to press the mixture into the dish (a trick I use for Rice Krispie Treats too). It only took me about 5-10 minutes to make. It’s almost gone already too. Thank you so much for sharing!!! 🙂
