Easy Baked Asparagus Recipe

Baked Asparagus RecipeWe LOVE asparagus around here. For years, I would steam it in a pan, but I recently started using this easy baked asparagus recipe, and it’s not only super quick and easy, but so yummy!

Baked Asparagus ProcessThis is literally a quick 4 step process:

Wash and snap off the tops of your asparagus.

Place on a tinfoil lined baking pan and drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with pepper and sea salt.

Mix it around so that the oil and spices cover evenly.

Place on the top rack of a 400°F oven and bake for 7-10 minutes (this will depend on how thick your asparagus spears are)

  1. Another great topping to baked asparagus is garlic and onion salt. Sometimes I also chop onions to bake with it. Yum! I broil mine to give it a chewy and crunch texture.

  2. Oh yummy! I think I will give the broil a try next time too …I have been too afraid to try that, but I love crunch 🙂

  3. Glenda, I’m going to try this, I LOVE balsamic but was worried it might be too strong.

  4. You probably already figured, but it doesn’t take long on broil,so just keep an eye on it.
