I am a member of the Netflix Stream Team. What this means is that not only will I be reviewing Netflix, but I will be sharing my experience with all of you. I was really excited to accept this opportunity because to be honest, I have been hearing more and more about Netflix and how “smart” it has become.

One thing that I have noticed through my browsing on Netflix is that they have SO many old classics, and that so many of our movie nights have turned into “remember when” moments with the kids. (And actually, my hubby and I have watched a few “remember when” movies without the kids as well!) There are so many great movies out there, and once you start looking through the classics on Netflix, your memory goes back to those times when you first saw that film.

Screen Shot 2013-12-30 at 11.11.21 AMOne movie that we recently watched as a family was Where the Red Fern Grows (grab the tissues, it’s still just as sad!) but what a great classic. It is such a simple film and it’s rated G… but it also held our attention for the entire time and my children loved the story, and I loved remembering how I felt when I watched it at their age. With so much excitement and technology in films these days, it was refreshing to watch an “oldie” that was simple and still captivating.

Another awesome discovery that I had with Netflix this month was the Netflix App! It’s FREE and it makes it so that you can take Netflix just about anywhere, which came in REALLY handy on our road trips this month!

I am excited to continue to share our Netflix adventures with you!
