Hop aboard for animal-filled adventures with everyone’s favorite engine Thomas and all his railway friends in Thomas& Friends®: Animals Aboard, arriving on DVD September 10, 2013 from Lionsgate and HIT Entertainment. Thomas& Friends®: Animals Aboard will also be available on Digital Download and Video on Demand on October 8. Featuring five wild, buzzing and furry adventures and timed to the release of the Fisher Price animal-themed toy line,this DVD will be available exclusively at Target for a limited time for a suggested retail price of $14.98. It’s full steam ahead for Thomas, Percy, Henry and the engines as they learn lessons about being kind to animals, doing good deeds and helping friends of all shapes and sizes!
All aboard as Thomas and his engine friends embark on exciting adventures with some new furry friends! Percy learns to be gentle when meeting some small forest friends and Thomas goes hog-wild trying to be Really Useful for Farmer Trotter. Henry performs a sweet deed in returning Sodor’s special songbird and Thomas must fulfill a tall order when he is asked to deliver the newest animal to Sodor’s Wildlife Center. The engines are busy as bees being Really Useful and helping animals big and small.
Our thoughts? As always, this DVD features Thomas and his fun engine friends interacting with animals, which added a new twist for my kids. They loved the interaction with animals and it was fun watching Thomas work hard to be a useful engine for Farmer Trotter. This story has a really fun message that combines friendship and helping others, and I love the added animal twist!
