Show Your Savvy Style Challenge | My JCPenny Shopping Spree

*Disclosure: I was contacted by to participate in this opportunity, and I was provided with a $100 gift code to facilitate by shopping experience. All opinions are 100% my own!

I was recently asked to participate in the Show Your Savvy Style challenge to put together at least two outfits/looks by shopping at  JCPenney online, using only $100 combined with coupon codes.

In case you missed my post last week about my JCPenney shopping spree challenge, and one of the looks that I created, which you can see here. Today I wanted to share with you yet another look that I was able to recreate from these 5 pieces that I purchased during this challenge!

I have a weekend getaway coming up, and my goal was already to pack light, so I decided to challenge myself to seeing how many looks that I could squeeze out of this one shopping spree, and I think I did pretty good. I purchased the following 5 pieces on the site, for a grand total of  $99.86. jcpennylook

The challenge was to create at least two looks, and I would have to say that I might have done even better than that, as I am pretty sure that by mixing and matching, I have several looks here!

In case you haven’t shopped JCPenney in awhile, they have a pretty great selection of clothing these days! One of my favorites lines that they carry is called  a.n.a. So, I went straight to the a.n.a section and then of course, shopped the sales so that the items that I purchased were already marked down! I think used  a JCPenney code which saved me an additional 10% off and also scored me FREE shipping! Of course, I also went through Ebates, my favorite cash back site, which scored me an additional 8% cash back!! (they had a bonus cash back event going on, lucky me!) So here is how my shopping trip went down:

a.n.a® Contrast Striped Skater Dress
$25 – 10% off savings = $22.50

a.n.a® Sequin Striped Tank Top (black)
$28 on sale for $17.99 – 10% off savings = $16.19

Lee® Dakota Cargo Capris
$40 on sale for $29.99 – 10% off savings = $26.99

a.n.a® Sequin Striped Tank Top (white)
$28 on sale for $17.99 – 10% off savings = $16.19

a.n.a® 3/4-Sleeve Open-Front Cardigan
$28 on sale for $19.99 – 10% off savings = $17.99

My Total Cost Before Savings: $149
My Total Cost After Savings & Coupon Code: $99.86

Here is another of the looks that I created when I combined a few pieces from my shopping trip. I love that I was able to do all of this on a budget, and I am going to be able to pack so light, and yet…have so many looks too choose from! This skater dress is darling, so light and could easily go from swimsuit cover up to night out on the town dancin’ dress! I paired the dress with the little black cardigan which is just perfect for cool evenings, and then added in some sparkly black flip-flops (again, great for poolside..maybe not so much for dancin’, lol) but a great look and all of these items can literally fit in a small carry on and/or even a back pack!jcpenney outfit
