I shared with you a couple of months ago an online resource for buying and selling gift cards called CouponTrade. I actually sold and purchased a couple my self, and was really pleased with the outcome. I am excited to share with you that CouponTrade recently moved their online discount gift card buying and selling to a brand new shiny site called Raise.com. It’s pretty much just like the old service, but new and improved with a larger inventory, even better discounts and a much easier navigation system, PLUS… a live chat option right on the site for immediate customer support.
On the Raise marketplace, you can buy gift cards online at a discount price to stores like Kohl’s, Macy’s, Walmart, Target and so many more. They make it easy to search for your favorite brand, and you can organize the gift cards by price, discount, and value to find the best deal. They offer both physical gift cards for you to shop in stores as well as electronic cards for you to shop online. And I really love that for immediate shopping and/or gift giving, you can even print eGift cards for certain stores.
Save $5.00 off of $50: On top of the already discounted gift cards, Raise is offering every member a $5 off coupon for your order over $50 with code RAISE5! I was able to get a Walgreens gift card valued at $32.00 plus a Kohl’s gift card for $25.00 for only $46! Of course, when I go shopping with both of my gift cards, I will maximize my savings by using coupons and cash back and any other options that I can find… which really makes this kind of dollar stretching extra fun! If you frequent certain stores, make sure to check their site often for cards to your favorite retailers, as the really good ones go quick, but I have found some great cards just by visiting often.
Along with buying gift cards, make sure you check out Raise to sell gift cards for cash! I cleared out our “coupon/gift card” drawer before the holidays and sold several gift cards and was very happy with the process. I did need the help of customer service at one point, and I was really impressed with how quickly they tackled my issue! I think that Raise.com is just one more awesome tool for those of us that love to shop and save online!
