My review: I so enjoyed watching this movie with my kids last week, and we had so much fun watching it. I had forgotten how funny (and sometimes ornery!) Tinker Bell could be, and I loved hearing again the story of the children in the nursery, and it brought back to me a lot of childhood memories of hearing this story for the first time, and how magical it was. Seeing this movie as an adult is so much different that seeing it as a child, because I remember that as a child, it all seemed to real, and possible. As an adult, I found myself caught up in the movie wishing and wanting and yes! almost really believing that it was real. I love when my mind gets all wrapped up in that Disney magic and I feel that my kids and I are on a true adventure as we watch a movie together.
Peter chasing his shadow (so that Wendy can sew it back on) is one of my favorite clips from the movie:
If you haven’t yet seen this movie, or if it’s been a really long time, I highly suggest making some time to treat yourself to a world where you don’t have to grow up, and where you can believe that anything is possible.
