…I wanted to share a little bit about what I am thankful for this year, and really, although another year has passed, many of my blessings are still the same (and I am grateful for that!) as they were last year at this time, and the year before that. So ~ my with just a few additions and modifications, I am repeating MOST of what I said last year, because it all still rings true… but this year brought a few new things to be thankful for as well.

What am I most thankful for this year? Healthy loved ones, the miracle of modern medicine and the precious gift of life … and the jaw dropping miracle of organ transplant that touched my family almost one year ago. So thankful for the person in my life who donated an organ, and so very thankful that the person who received it is doing wonderful. I am thankful for the overwhelming support and prayers from friends and family. Thankful.Thankful.Thank you God, so Thankful!

What else am I thankful for? I am thankful for the 7 year old who calls me mama… he is healthy. Happy. and super fast! I am thankful that his little sissy is healthy, happy and extra (extra) spicy. I am thankful that my children know God. I am thankful that their daddy loves me, takes care of us and is one of the most hard working and honest people that I have ever met, and I am thankful to share my world and home with him. I am thankful that I get to love my husband and these two little people every single day…and I am also thankful that I get to tuck them into their beds every night, yet somehow we all wake up in the same bed every morning. (sometimes, at 4am, I am not as thankful for this as I should be!) I am thankful that my children have all of their grandparents … and that they have special relationships with each of them.

I am thankful for my parents, siblings and friends. I am thankful for this blog and the many unexpected friendships that it has brought into my life. So many of my fellow bloggers have become true friends, and I am thankful for my readers and the brands that I work with for making this such an exciting and rewarding way to spend my time, I truly enjoy what I do for a living, and the people that I spend the time with as I do it … and for that, I am thankful!

I am thankful for God’s grace, work and forgiveness in my life. All I really need is a song in my heart, food in my belly and love in my family….. (this comes a song that my kids learned at preschool …and I love that I find them singing it from time to time) …. I love it….Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours…and thank YOU for being a part of my blog, I really love doing this, and I am so thankful!!!!
