We love playing games as a family. There is something so cozy and simple about just taking the time to spend an evening laughing and playing as a family. I know that it means a lot to my kids as well, in fact, my son recently wrote a little story about his family for school and he put that one of his favorite things that we do as a family is “be silly and play games.” If my kids grow up with any kind of memories… I want them to be these kind: simple and happy. I have very similar memories of playing games as a child.

We are huge fans of Pressman Games … so I was really excited when I was contacted to review these new games, because I know that many of you love children’s games as well, and with the holidays right around the corner…it’s perfect timing!!

Freezing Frenzy ~ It’s the frantic action game where Erik sends ice cubes popping out all over! Turn him on and he jumps and moves around the game base, kicking out colorful ice cubes along the way. Quickly grab your color cubes and quickly try to put the other players’ cubes back in the base before they can grab them! The first player to get all of their cubes wins. For 2 to 4 players, ages 5 and up. This game is currently on Amazon for $20.76.

Who’s Riding on the Bus ~ Who’s on the bus? A tiger, a monkey, a giraffe, a horse… and other happy animals! Players look at a bus card that shows them the order the animals are sitting in on the bus. Then they move their buses over the game board, trying to be the first player to get the right animals in the right windows. Then you’re ready to go! For 2 players, ages 5 and up. This game is currently priced at $14.98 on Amazon.

My thoughts? I love Pressman games… the boxes are made well, the games fit back into the boxes nicely (HUGE pet peeve of mine if they don’t, lol) … but most of all … they hit the mark perfectly when it comes to entertaining (and educating) the kiddos. I would so much rather buy my kids games then most other toys.

Who’s Riding the Bus is a game that gets everyone excited, but it also gets them thinking! You have to move that bus around until all of the animals are in the right place, which isn’t as easy as it looks … but it’s fun, and makes for some good ol’ fashioned board game fun!

We had a ball with Freezing Frenzy … love the fast pace and all the giggles that go along with that. Very simple game, anyone can play… watch out though… things move fast, and before you know it… all of the cubes are gone:

HER STORY….

So here is the deal….I am a quirky artist chic who loves to shop, save and share ideas. I am also the full time wife of a veterinarian, an overtime mommy, lots of the time artist (www.KeriLyn.com) and some of the time (ok…most of the time) obsessed saver of money, seeker of deals, and finder of freebies! I can hardly stand to pay full price for anything. I think that consumers should be informed and involved and that you have every right to get the best bang for your buck. I also believe in playing fair and playing by the rules…that is what makes life fun! I believe in recycling, using what you can, and donating what you can’t use to those in need. My mantras? (I collect them, by the way ... maybe even to the point of mantra hoarding. I also tend to mumble them in times of stress....) Life is short ... find blessings in the small things, love hard, forgive easily, and pray BOLDLY. Remain calm and embrace the Chaos... because we are all oh-so (more than we know!) blessed!!
