Happy Memorial Day everyone! Today is about remembering those who have lost their lives in the service of our Country, and a reminder that our freedom came at a price (and continues to). Every year I make sure to get my Buddy Poppy, in honor of both of my Grandpas who served in several wars between the two of them. Sometimes I feel guilty about that fact that this weekend full of BBQs 
and Celebration, is really supposed to be about remembering those who were lost (and probably lost well before their time) But that’s the beauty of it … we are celebrating exactly what they were fighting for … the freedom to enjoy our freedoms and celebrate life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness, however we choose to. I love that.I currently have a family member who just returned from serving our Country, along with a few good friends, husbands of friends … and I know that many of my readers are from military families. I am thankful for all you on this day as well, because I know the sacrifice you put forth so that we can enjoy the freedoms that we do. God Bless you all, and thank you.
