Let the new month begin!! Awesome new coupons on Coupons.com! These canned veggie coupons are a bit rare, so I would print them quick: $1.00 off of 4 Cans of Libby’s Vegetables. This coupon will make for an awesome deal when paired with a sale! Remember…. you can print this coupon twice! (I found this coupon in zipcode 12345)
There are so many great coupons out there right now, so make sure to check my favorite sites often for coupons that fit your needs: Coupons.com, Redplum, SmartSource and other Printable Coupons (keep in mind, these usually have a print limit…so they may or may not be available at the time you go to print them, but I will keep them as updated as I can.)
Thanks Organic Deals!

I love this! I woke my son up one summer night about 2 years ago and brought him out on the deck so that we could sit in the lawn chairs and stare up at the stars. It was such a neat night…and he STILL talks about it. I was so excited to see that Amazon has a great deal on Fancy Nancy: Stellar Stargazer! which is on sale for $7.79 (beats Target’s price of $10) My daughter is a Fancy Nancy fan, so this will be a fun book to read before I wake her up for a star gazing adventure! I also love that the cover glows in the dark!
You also get FREE Shipping with Amazon Prime

Thanks Saving with Shellie!

Here’s the best thing about my what I get to do for a living: I’m a Mom. And I get to blog from home. Here’s the worst thing about my job: I’m a Mom. And I blog from home. How could this be bad, you ask? Because my kids love me regardless of my lack of makeup, mis-matched socks and/or (and yes! sometimes it is all of these things!) my unbrushed teeth/hair/eyebrows… (eek…!). And as far as my readers go… well, my readers have no idea what a train wreck I can be, because I get to hide behind the computer screen each day. My point? All of this leads to me getting just a tad bit comfy in my mommy blogging mode, and probably not stepping it up as much as I should in the style department. In other words: I wasn’t always this frazzled and frayed…
I was a princess once. (literally, one.time.). Just ask my daughter. We have a large framed photo of my hubby and I on our wedding day hanging in our family room. And every now and then, she wants the details laid out for her, kind of like, “So, let me get this straight. You USED to be a princess, and you wore make-up and you had tan skin and you painted your nails and wore fancy shoes? And then you married Daddy and now you are a Mommy?” … “yes, something like that…”, I say. But here’s the thing. I LOVE being a mom. Even in yoga pants and the standard ponytail and brushable eyebrows… I love, love, love being a mom. I also love blogging. But the thought of kicking it up with a style make-over sounds so exciting for this somewhat frazzled Mama.
I have always wanted a make-over, and to be honest, I have even scripted in my mind (many times) what I would do if the fashion police did ever jump out to arrest me. In fact, when I worked outside the home, I actually lived in fear of this actually happening. It’s not so much that I feel frumpy, but I do feel frazzled … and I seem to always put myself last when it comes to “getting it together” … so a make-over would be such a treat. I would LOVE a “Style Session” with Moms Fashion File … and it just so happens that they are picking Mommy bloggers for this very event that will take place next August at Blogher…. pray for me dear friends… and my eyebrows.
One night, when I was tucking my daughter in, she said to me … “Mama, do you miss being a princess?” and I said “No, because now I have you … and you are my princess.” And I meant that … but the truth is, as the Mama of a princess… I have a feeling that I am going to have to be on my toes. My freshly manicured toes….
