Remember the new SheSaved Treasure Chest that I told you about? Well, the kids and I had a fun time packaging up and shipping out some prizes to some of the Easter Egg Hunt Winners from this week…. so if you won…then your package is on the way!! and…my preschooler taught me a great song to go along with the prize distribution of the items from the Treasure Chest … Ya get what ya get, and ya don’t throw a fit! …how’s that for some brilliant preschool logic!!?? (thanks to my son’s teacher for that little bit of life knowledge!!) I LOVE it… so … winners…your prizes were randomly chosen but it was done with love 
After we packaged everything up and got it shipped out … we headed down to a children’s consignment sale called SmartyPantsConsignment (Boise, ID) that I was really excited to check out… we even got there a day late, and we scored some killer deals. I spent almost exactly $15 on each of my kids … and got so many bargains!! THREE pairs of new-like jeans for my son, a dress shirt and a cool t-shirt and for my daughter we found some darling name brand clothing, including a Hanna Andersson Sweater that alone would have been $50!! She also got 3 dresses and a skirt and a t-shirt. (if you live in the Boise area… things will be 1/2 OFF at this sale tomorrow!!) I find a lot of really neat clothes for my kids by buying second hand … and I enjoy the “hunt” for them… check around where you live to see what consignment sales are going on … they usually start popping up this time of year … and it is also a great way to sell and recycle the clothes that your kids have outgrown!

The weather here was really gloomy today, but we made our own fun, and accomplished a lot … I love a day like that!!
