…I had a blast at Target this afternoon…and for some reason BOTH of my kids were on their best behavior … I love when that happens!! Below pictured is everything that I got (not including some clearance stuff, but I am not including that in my total since it won’t apply to everyone.) So … everything that you see in the photo below cost me approx $18.68 (not including tax) The First thing that I did (seperate transacation) was purchase 5 of the Keebler Cookies… they have the Grasshoppers and the Fudgesticks on sale for $1.52 each … purchase 5 = $7.60 and you get a $5 Target Gift Card (so you are actually getting 5 boxes of cookies for $2.60!)
Then…I used my $5 Gift Card towards this purchase:
Starting at the TimTam Cookies on the right and going clockwise:
2 packs of Tim Tam Cookies – on sale for $2.00 each used the $1.00 off Peppridge Farm Tim Tam Coupon = $2.00/2
Excedrin PM FREE using the FREE Excedrin Coupon = FREE
Rimmel ExtraSuper Lash Mascara FREE with $3.00 off Rimmel Coupon March All You Magazine = FREE
(get YOUR subscription to All You (1-year) …it pays for itself in the first issue… I love this magazine!)
Scotch Fur Fighter FREE (on sale for $3.99) using the $4.00 off Scotch Fur Fighter Printable = FREE
2 Johnsons Buddies Soap Bars…FREE with the $1.00 off Any Johnsons Baby Item = FREE
2 Thai Kitchen Soup Bowls ($2.04 each) $1.04 each after the $1.00 off Any Thai Kitchen Coupon = $2.08/2
2 Uncrustables (on sale right now for $2.07) $1.07 each using the $1.00 off Smuckers Uncrustables Coupon = $2.14/2
1Wishbone Salad Spritzer $2.04 used the $1.00 off Coupon from 1/31 Red Plum Insert = $1.04
2 Travel Size Satin Care Shaving Gels 97cents – 55cent coupons from 2/7 P&G insert = 84cents/2
1 Dove Travel Size Hair Spray = FREE with $1.50 off 1 Coupon from the 1/31 Red Plum Insert= FREE
1 Johnson and Johnson Travel Size Baby Shampoo using the $1 off 1 Johnson & Johnson Coupon = FREE
2 Method 25 Wash Laundry Soaps on sale $7.99 – used the $4.00 off Method Laundry Coupon = $7.98/2
Total: $16.08 – MINUS $5 Gift Card from Cookie Transaction = $11.08 + $7.60 (first transaction cookies) = total: $18.68 (and you have to consider, that $8 of that is expensive laundry soap….that I am excited to try!) I hope that this helps for you to see how I roll deals. I personally…don’t need a zero total to feel like I had a successful trip. I mostly try to focus on getting a good deal on products, trying some new products and getting the most bang for my buck. (I got a few more sweets then we are used to this trip…as you can see…the cookies didn’t make it home unopened, lol…but the rest are now in the freezer… for awhile)…and I have to thank Hip2Save and GiveMeNeither for some great Target ideas!
