…I thought I would share a few of the “Halloween Happenings” from our home… so above you will see our pumpkins. My son ALWAYS has to do the “throw-up” pumpkin…as he saw one when he was just 2 years old and was fascinated with the thought of it…so every year… we have a sick pumpkin. Nice, eh? To the right of Mr. Sicko, you will see Mr. No-Nose … a result of not being able to convince my 4 year old that cutting the entire piece out would collapse the entire face. Some things you just have to learn by doing, right? …thus…to the left you will see Mrs. No-Nose-At-All because my daughter refused a nose on her pumpkin in fear that there could be another disaster.
We did make delicious pumpkin seeds with the EASIEST recipe that I have ever used, and I found it

Our costumes were pretty easy this year as well…
My son is a Mummy (?…his choice…lol)
(White Long Johns from Target $12)
(5 Rolls of Gauze – Dollar Store – $5)
(White Stocking cap – which I pulled down over his face and cut holes in and white gloves with the long sleeve things so they pull up over his long johns – these were $1 each at Walmart)
Total: $19 (plus I figure that we will use the long johns all winter….)
…Little Sissy is a cowgirl … complete with dappled pony. She had the hat and boots
and my MIL cut the vest from $3 worth of fabric from a clearance rack. We got the cute skirt at a garage sale and I bought a Princess Jewel set on clearance at Target for $1.98
to add gems to the outfit.
