OOOHHHH…how much fun is this?? our Lemonade Stand arrived today!! You can read my post about it HERE. Did you get one? What are your plans? We can’t wait for some warm weather to have a sale…but as you can see…my kids are having a ball with it inside!!
The goal is to raise funds for a charity of your choice and report back with kids all over the country…so I will let me know how ours goes!!

Speaking of saving money, time is also something that we all seem short on…so I thought I would share one of our favorite breakfasts that is a) REALLY easy b) YUMmmmy and c) actually somewhat healthy. We call these Breakfast PopOvers. I literally blend them up in the mixer and pour them into muffin tins ~ go take a quick shower ~ come back and they are done!
Ingredients:
1 cup flour
4 eggs (sometimes I remove 2 yolks)
1 cup milk
2 tablespoons melted butter
2 teaspoons vanilla
2 teaspoons sugar
Preheat the oven to 450F ~ blend the above in a blender. Spray muffin tins with oil, fill 1/2 way ~ put in oven for about 12 minutes on middle rack. We top these with home canned peaches ~ blueberries ~ applesauce, syrup, powdered sugar… whatever you like! This recipe makes 15.

Here is a photo of my quick Walgreens stop yesterday. I got the gum free by using the $1.00 of coupons and it was on sale 2/$2. The Bayer is on sale $1.99 – use the $1.00 off from the SS and it will be 99cents (make sure you grab the boxes with the BONUS count). I bought the shaving gels individually so I could get $3 Register Rewards with them and that is what paid for my other stuff, including photos. I also used one of my RR plus $1 to buy a large Soft Soap (on sale now for $3.99) and when you purchase it the register will print out a coupon for a second one FREE.
Men’s shave gel was $2.49 and Woman’s was $2.99 ~ I did both of these twice, which paid for everything = $10.96 spent (I used the photo coupon HERE to get my photos 1/2 off)

Finally getting around to posting my photo from last weeks Kmart doubling. Shown are two seperate trips ~ the first was $24 something (over $50 saved) and the second trip I was really in my groove because before coupons I was over $80 and ended up spending only $8. I am finally figuring Kmart out. (which is VERY important if you go because the employees there have not been properly trained or informed about these sales, so it can be a bit frustrating.) Anyway … I thought I did pretty good!!

A few really simple “great deals” at Walgreens right now. First of all ~ you can buy either the Skintimate Gel (for women) or Edge Shaving Gel (for men) both will return a $3.00 register reward (cash to spend on your next purchase). The only catch is that you have to buy them one at a time to get the $3 back. If you use your $3 RR to pay for your next gel, it won’t give another RR, so I would advise against that. Check out the great Walgreens photo deal post (below) … that is what I used my register rewards on. These can actually be a money maker, because at my Walgreens, the women’s gel was priced at $2.49.
Another killer deal right now are the Mentos Gum. They are on sale right now for 2/$2 … so if you saved your $1.00 of coupons…use two of these coupons and buy 2 things of gum…FREE! You might also have some 50c
ent off coupons for these, which still makes them a pretty good deal at 50cents each.
